 Let’s spark up October and make it better than September!Goal of the project:Strengthenedcapacities of youth organizations to use digital tools and methods for working with young people "in" and "after" pandemic conditionsTraining | Strengthening the Capacities of Youth Organizations to Use Digital Tools & MethodsIn the period from 1 to 3 October Coalition SEGA conducted a training to strengthen the capacity of youth organizations to use digital tools and methods for working with young people "in" and "after" pandemic conditions.The training activities strengthened and enhanced the digital skills and knowledge of youth workers and representatives of civil society organizations to use methods and tools in conducting activities with young people in a pandemic.Through the training, civil society organizations and organizations that work with young people have been able to smoothly perform various types of activities through the use of methods and online tools.The training was held as part of the project "Strengthening the capacity of youth organizations "in and "after" conditions of COVID19", financially supported by the Municipality of Gazi Baba.#coalitionsega #digitaltools #training #gazibabaGoal of the project:To promote active citizenship through civic education and active online participation of youth role models from socially disadvantaged groupsACTIon meeting & trainingOn October 5, an online training was heldon the OPIN Platform for youth eParticipation. After the training, the partners of the project had an online meeting for coordination about the project activities.#Erasmus+ #ACTIonEUProject #activecitizenship #civiceducationGoal of the project:To strengthen the capacities of primary schools, social work centers and civil society organizations for career guidance and counseling of young people in accordance with the local labor marketTraining | Career Guidance and Counseling for Working with StudentsIn the period from October 8 to 10, the last sessions of the "Training for career guidance and counseling when working with ninth grade students" were held with representatives of the professional service from primary schools at the national level.Career as a process, profile of career counselors, individual and group counseling, life skills and competencies, individual assessment and intervention were part of the training sessions in which the participants actively participated.The training was held at Hotel Ambient - Struga within the project "Creating a career path in accordance with the labor market" implemented by the Coalition of Youth Organizations SEGA, financially supported by the General Secretariat of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia, through the Program for financial support of associations and foundations.#coalitionsega #youth #employment #career #careerguidanceCapacity building on combating child trafficking ConfirmationOn October 12, as part of the "Pilot Project for Early Warning System for Missing Children" implemented by CSOs "Human Rights Journalists", an online training was held to strengthen the capacity of CSOs to deal with child trafficking.At the training, the participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the institutional framework of human trafficking, but also to hear Austrian experiences about the differences between human trafficking and human trafficking with special reference to children, specific risks for street children, prevention of child victims of trafficking in human beings from secondary victimization, access to information.The main goal of the project is to improve existing approaches and find new methods for preventing, investigating and mitigating trafficking in human beings and children, as well as protecting or strengthening the rights of those affected by exchanging experiences and gaining new knowledge.#coalitionsega #capacitybuilding #training #humantrafficking4th edition of the Europe ConventionThe 4th edition of the Europe Convention was held online from October 14 to 15, 2021.After more than a year of health crisis, it was time to rediscover the dynamics of intercultural exchanges by meeting among youth professionals!The Europe Convention was intended for professionals of the Léo Lagrange network and all of its European partners. It was an opportunity to meet again almost two years after the Europe 2019 Convention - Fight against Discrimination, to meet new European partners and to discuss current opportunities with them. The conference was also to mark the UNESCO Global MIL Week around its central theme this year: “MIL for the public good.” Gathering 22 speakers – some participating in-person, speaking from a studio set up in UN House in Sarajevo, some connecting online, 200 participants joined the event online.#UNESCO #TrustInMediaSEE #coalitionsegaInternational Scientific Conference "OHRID SCHOOL OF LAW"The Executive Director of Coalition SEGA, Zoran Ilieski, participated in the 7th International Scientific Conference "OHRID SCHOOL OF LAW" - 2021, which this year was on the topic: "Legal Reform: Reality or Desired Thinking" and was held from 21 to 24 October in Ohrid.At the conference were presented several scientific research papers in the field of the need for reform in the legislation, and the Executive Director presented the paper "Law on Youth Participation and Youth Policies - Challenges and Weaknesses" which pointed out the shortcomings of the law, based on its implementation so far from January 2020 until today.The Executive Director strongly addressed the need for amendments to the law in the area of penal provisions and sanctions for institutions that will not act in accordance with established legal provisions. He noted that "Here we come to one of the main anomalies of this law, ie the non-existence of misdemeanor provisions. Such an omission in this legal solution gives space for its circumvention and non-application, which in turn does not lead to responsibility for the one who will not fulfill his legal obligation."#conference #ohridschooloflaw #coalitionsegaGoal of the project:To increase the quality of youth work in preventing NEET in Europe"My Career Our Game" | Multiplier eventRepresentatives of Coalition SEGA were participating in a Transnational Meeting within the project "My careerour game" in Aveiro, Portugal. The meeting was attended by representatives of EPI from Poland and the University of Aveiro and discuss the next steps of the project, realization of international youth exchange and finalization of innovative products. The meeting was being held at the premises of the University of Aveiro, which is a partner of the project.The project is implemented within the Erasmus + program and is supported by the National Agency in Poland.#ErasmusPlus #mycareerourgame #coalitionsegaConference | "Aspects of Housing and Tenants' Rights"An onlineconference was held on October 26, where the housing situation in Macedonia, the region, the EU and globally was discussed.
